okays. most of th them are all knowledge-based questions.
seriously, i do not know how to deal with such questions,
one reason : i dont read much, argh.
im not up-to-date of what happened in our society each day.
im oblivious of recent hot topics.

okays. i should start reading newspaper.
seriously, i dread reading newsweek too. oh my.
but that`s th way to improve my GP.
out of many many questions, i chose one that was v difficult.
heh. v tough, but stil i chose it. i must be mad.
all th other questions required so much of my SS. aww.
th knowledge i had acquired from SS had all flew to *lala-land.
haha. basically, i had forgotten all about it.
my essay writing skills was atrocious. nevertheless, i ll improve on it !

I do not agree that cosmetic surgery is merely vanity.
in my opinion, one feels good when one looks good.
what is cosmetic surgery actually ?
with th improvements in technology, advancement in
medical knowledge, people can now get any facial feature or part of th body being "admended" or should i say beautify instead ?
vanity is defined as one being vain. th sentence, cosmetic surgery is merely vanity, is regarded as"time-honoured".we ll now have to look back on how cosmetic surgery was being regarded as, as compared to now.
in th past, when cosmetic surgery was first introduced, it would have very much being rejected by the society. people would just had been condemned by th public just because they he/she went for plastic surgery.
now, it`s already th 21st century, cosmetic surgery are very commonseen among all. if one could have went for cosmetic surgery, it seemed "no big deal".
often, when new things are being introduced to th society, it would have been rejected or condemned, but as time goes by, eventually, people got to accept it.
someone onced said, "fate lies in one`s hand". yes, i absolutely agree to that. fate lies very much on your hands. every individual controls their own life and induce their own destiny. each individual is th product of his/her own thoughts. so, if you want to turn georgeous, you can ! no one is this world is born as charming as fiona xie, the mediacorp artiste, and being able to have georgeous figure that every woman yearns for. it`s 21st century now, th society has turned out to to be realistic. often, people judged a person by their looks. it`s their looks that gives people their first impression. it matters a lot.
by looking good, one can be confident of him/herself. by being confident, one can speaks well can potray him/herself well in front of everyone. if any individual is born with ugly features, cosmetic surgery might be th only solution to his/her misery. there was a new movie being screened recently in th threatres. it`s named "200 POUNDS BEAUTY". th movie reflects on how realistic th society is today. it features a rather obese woman with melodious voice being rejected by th society to th fact that she was obese. as a result, she, with her charming and sweet voice, can only perform at th back-stage. she was not allow to perform on th stage. in th later part of th show, she went for cosmetic surgery. together with her looks and her melodious voice, she had made her mark. (: many big stars have had also went for cosmetic surgery. some, it was their looks that brings them to where they stand today.
however, traditional mindsets are still surfacing out to th society nowadays. yes, conservative thinkings do stil exist. they insisted that being natural, it is considered as a beauty. moreover, beauty lies in th eyes of th beholder. one should be satisfied. one should be thankful of th looks that god bestowed him/her with. for example, bill gates succeeded and made his mark soley independant of his looks. it`s what he has got that brings him to th sucess he owned now. he`s earning big bucks now although he might not look suave enough. HAHA. =P<-- THIS NOT INCLUDED.
on th contary, it`s already 21st century now ! if you were given a chance to beautify yourself, why not ?! furthermore, having to undergo a cosmetic surgery shows how determined and strong-willed one is, to not accept th fact that one is ugly. he decided to go against what was meant for him/her. as i mentioned earlier, fate lies in one`s hand, it is up to each individual to decide what they turn out to be in th future. now, in japan, you could just get your nose done within a day.
in a nutshell, cosmetic surgery is not merely vanity but improving self-confidence. *no more low-esteem oks ? hahas. okays, th rest i forgotten what i wrote already. argh. im getting exhausted just by tryin to recall my essay ! hahas. i hope my GP ll furthermore improve 1 year plus down th road.
